Tafseer, translation and notes
Tap any verse and its explanation opens under it. Choose the tafseer you trust and the translation you read, and keep your own notes in the margin.
Reading without understanding is half the act. A verse you tap opens a sheet with its tafseer and, if you want one, a translation — both selectable, so the app does not decide on your behalf whose reading you follow.
Notes are yours and stay on your device. Write what a teacher said about a verse, or what you want to look up later, and it is waiting the next time that page comes round.
Bookmarks work the same way, and are separate from where you stopped reading. Somewhere you want to return to and somewhere you happen to have got up to are two different things, so the app keeps them apart.
What you get
A tafseer you choose
Pick from the available tafseers and change it whenever.
Translations
Read the meaning in the language you think in.
Your own notes
A private margin beside any verse, kept on the device.
Shareable verse cards
Send a verse as an image or as plain text.
How it works
Tap the verse
Anywhere in the mushaf, in any reading mode. The sheet rises from the bottom over the page you were on.
Switch to what you read
Use the picker at the top of the sheet to change the tafseer or the translation. Your choice becomes the default from then on.
Save what matters
Bookmark the verse, or write a note against it. Both are listed together later, so you can find a thought without remembering the page number.
