Qibla compass
A compass that points at the Kaaba from wherever you are standing. Calculated on the device from your position, with nothing sent anywhere.
The direction is the great-circle bearing from where you are to Makkah, worked out on the phone. It needs your position and your phone's compass, and nothing else.
Hold the phone flat and turn until the needle settles. Metal and magnets confuse every phone compass, so if it wanders, step away from a desk or a car and give it a moment.
It works with no signal — your position and a bearing calculation are all it uses.
What you get
Calculated on the device
No lookup, no request, no record of where you were.
Offline
Works in a basement or on a plane.
One screen
Nothing to set up and nothing to read.
How it works
Open Qibla
From the home screen.
Hold the phone flat
Level, away from metal. Turn slowly until the needle settles on the Kaaba.
If it wanders, calibrate
Move the phone in a figure of eight a few times — that is your phone's own compass calibration, not something the app invents.
