Works without a signal
A connection is only needed for the parts that reach other people. Everything you do alone works on a plane, in a basement, or on a phone with no plan on it.
This is a deliberate line, not an accident of caching. The mushaf and its typefaces, the azkar, the Names, the hadith library, the tasbih and the prayer-time calculation are all part of the app and are all there with the network off.
Recitations work offline once you have downloaded them, which is a decision you make per surah rather than a cache you have to hope for.
What needs a connection: family circles and their chat, Quran radio and live channels, and the one-time download of the speech model for Hifz with AI. Those are the parts that reach beyond your phone, and the app says so rather than failing quietly.
What you get
The mushaf, always
All 604 pages and their typefaces ship with the app.
Prayer times, calculated
Worked out on the device, not requested.
Audio you chose to keep
Download per surah and it is yours.
Honest about the rest
Circles, radio and the model download need a signal.
How it works
Download before you go
Pick the surahs you want to hear on the way and download them while you still have wifi.
Open Hifz with AI once
So the speech model is on the device before you need it somewhere without a signal.
Then forget about it
Nothing else asks for the network.
