Private by default
The app opens straight into the Quran. No sign-up, no email, no permission granted, and it stays that way unless you choose otherwise.
Not one of the app's permissions is needed to read the Quran. Location is for prayer times and the Qibla, and only while the app is open; the microphone is for memorisation practice and for voice notes you choose to send to your circle; photos are only the ones you pick yourself to send, or a card you made and save, and the app never browses your library.
Speech recognition runs on your device. No audio is recorded, stored or sent — not to us, not to anyone.
There is no advertising, and there is nothing to buy. Nothing about the app's design is trying to keep you in it longer than you meant to be.
Your name and your messages are visible to a family circle only if you join one, and to that circle only. You can delete your account from inside the app — Profile → Delete my account — and choose to erase this device's data with it.
