The circle's group chat
Every circle has a group chat built in, so a teacher can correct a student and a mother can say well done without anybody leaving the mushaf.
The chat is part of the circle rather than a bolt-on: it opens from the same screen as the progress bars, and unread counts sit beside them. A note about tomorrow's portion belongs next to today's, not in a different app where it competes with everything else in someone's day.
Messages arrive live while the app is open, and as a notification when it is not — one you can mute per circle if a class of two hundred is louder than you want.
Everything written is filtered for profanity on the server before it reaches anyone. Any member can report a message or block another member, and an admin can remove somebody outright. This is what we tell both app stores, and it is what actually runs.
What you get
Live delivery
Messages appear as they are sent, not on a refresh.
Per-circle mute
Silence a busy halaqa without leaving it.
Filtered and reportable
A profanity filter on the server, plus report and block.
Unread that is accurate
One number per circle, correct on every device you use.
How it works
Open your circle
Family → the circle you are in. The chat tab is beside the progress.
Write
Anything you send reaches every member of that circle and nobody else.
Keep it quiet if you need to
Mute the circle from its chat menu. You stay a member and keep your goal; you just stop being buzzed.
Report or block
Long-press a message to report it, or open a member to block them. An admin sees reports and can remove the person.
Goes well with
Family circles
A Quran reading circle for a household or a halaqa of up to 200, joined by a short name instead of a link.
Daily goals and gentle reminders
Nudges timed against the prayer, so they land when somebody is free.
Private by default
No account, no ads, no recording — and every permission optional.
