Memorisation tracking

A plain record of your hifz: which surahs are done, which are in progress, and how much of the Quran that adds up to. Kept on your device.

Memorisation is long, and the main thing that erodes it is losing sight of how far you have come. The hifz screen answers that in one glance: every surah, its state, and a total across the whole mushaf.

Mark a surah as memorised, or as being worked on. The total updates, and the surahs you are on stay at the top where you will see them.

It pairs with Hifz with AI: the tracker says what you have learned, and the AI practice screen tells you whether it is still there.

What you get

Surah by surah

All 114, each with its own state.

A running total

How much of the Quran you hold, as a proportion.

In progress, not only done

A surah you are on is a state of its own.

On your device

Your hifz record is not a public number.

How it works

  1. Open Hifz

    From the home screen.

  2. Mark what you know

Go through the list once and set the surahs you already have. It takes a few minutes and it is the only setup there is.

  3. Keep it current

Move a surah to 'in progress' when you start it and to 'memorised' when it holds. The total follows.

  4. Test it

Open Hifz with AI on a surah you have marked and recite it aloud to see whether it is still where you left it.
